Casagrande Appraisals LLC of San Antonio, Texas is owned by Linda H. Roberts, who became an independent appraiser in 1994 under Richard L. Casagrande, ISA CAPP, the founder of the company and former President of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Appraisers. Since then Linda Roberts has provided clients in Texas and other states with professional appraisals, specializing in the appraisal of fine art, antiques, decorative arts and residential contents. Our business is limited to professional appraisals; we are not dealers and do not buy or sell. We are members of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), a professional organization of personal property appraisers formed to serve the public by producing highly qualified and ethical appraisers who are recognized authorities in personal property appraising. ISA's professional development and designation programs, along with its strong code of ethics and standards of conduct, form the basis for the high quality of our appraisals. Following extensive formal appraisal training and testing through that organization, Linda Roberts became an Accredited Member of ISA in 1996. Our reports are prepared to conform to ISA's stringent appraisal practices and code of ethics, and our credentials, procedures and documentation meet IRS requirements. Our USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices) certification is current, as mandated by The Appraisal Foundation, authorized by Congress as the source of appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications.
Linda Roberts attended Mills College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Sociology before further studies at the University of California at Berkeley, followed by extensive international travels and 10 years working with museums in San Antonio and West Texas.
